H-38 started with a belief: small teams with the right systems will always outperform large teams without
them. Here's how that belief became a company.
Origin
It started with people. A small group of us in H Block, Room 38. Same speed, same standards, same refusal
to accept "this is how it's done." No titles. No business plan. Just late nights solving problems because we
wanted to.
Three people with the right setup doing what ten couldn't. That wasn't luck. That was compounding. Smart
people plus the right tools plus no bureaucracy. Every time.
The room was small. What came out of it wasn't.That room taught us a few things we never unlearned.
What We Believe
Four beliefs that run through everything we build.
01.
Cross-pollination wins.
You get solutions specialists miss. We started in design, learned to code, then learned how businesses
run. That range is the edge. A specialist sees one wall. We see the whole room: your sales, design,
production, and how they should connect.
02.
We work with what you have first.
You don't pay for what you don't need. Most teams don't need a custom platform. They need someone who
knows which three tools to connect and how to make them talk.
03.
We chase fixed, not clever.
You get working systems, not impressive demos. Solving your problem is the goal. Technology just
carries out the orders. We use whatever works: integration, automation, custom builds.
04.
We diagnose before we build.
You fix the root cause, not just the symptom. We study how your business actually works, find what's
actually broken, then fix that. Most consultants skip this step.
Beliefs are worth nothing without a method. Here's ours.
How We Work
1
(The Constant)
Work inside the business.
A weekly one-on-one with your business. Not a status call, a working session where we dig into what's
happening across tech, marketing, operations, and growth. We make decisions together.
2
(Discovery)
Build the roadmap first.
In the first few weeks, we run discovery and build a custom roadmap for your business. Not a template,
a plan shaped by your goals, your gaps, and your market.
3
(Dashboard)
Keep everything in one place.
Between calls, you have your dashboard. Questions, reviews, quick decisions, all in one place. The
Constant isn't a meeting. It's an ongoing seat inside your company.
4
(The Catalyst)
Build what the roadmap reveals.
The Constant tells us where to look. The Catalyst is what we build because of it. Every project
follows five phases: Spark, Scope, Build, Review, Launch. One project at a time. Priced separately.
Delivered properly.
This process runs through two engines.
Studio + Labs
01.
Studio
Studio is where we work with partners. We embed with your team, co-build systems, and stay long enough
to make sure everything runs. Think of it as the delivery side of H-38. Every Constant partnership,
every Catalyst build, runs through Studio.
02.
Labs
Labs is where we experiment. No briefs. No deliverables. Just hard problems and the freedom to tinker
until something clicks. When the same bottleneck shows up across three partners, Labs builds a tool for
it. Some experiments become products. Some just make Studio smarter. Both count.
