Who we are

H-38 is a studio based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working with creative leaders and small teams across technology, brand, operations and growth. We are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form, and only when you choose to send it. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.

If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever that message contains, for the same reasons and on the same terms.

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The message you write, and anything you choose to include in it
• Whether you ticked the optional box asking to hear about news and offers

What we do not collect

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no session recording. It does not store anything in your browser, and it does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites.

There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. The fonts are served from this site's own domain rather than fetched from a third party, so simply reading a page here does not report your visit to anyone else.

Our web host will keep standard server logs, which ordinarily include IP addresses, in order to serve the site and defend it against abuse. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Why we use it, and on what basis

To reply to you, and to carry on the conversation you started. If that conversation becomes a working relationship, the same details are used to run it — scheduling sessions, sending work, and invoicing.

The lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form, and the performance of a contract once we are working together. Marketing is separate: we only send news and offers if you ticked that optional box, and every such message carries a way to stop receiving them.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. No decision affecting you is made about you by automated means.

Who we share it with

As few parties as the work allows. Personal information reaches a third party only in these situations:

Any provider acting on our behalf may only act on our instructions, and may not use your information for their own purposes.

• Service providers that operate this site and our email, which necessarily process what passes through them
• Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where they need it to advise us
• A public authority, where the law requires us to hand it over

Client and project information

Most H-38 work is under NDA. Where a project gives us access to a client's systems or data, that access is governed by the agreement with that client rather than by this policy, and we do not publish client names, project details or screenshots without permission.

Case studies on this site are written to describe the problem and the work without identifying the client, which is why they carry no logos and, in most cases, no company name.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted once it is clear there is nothing to follow up. Correspondence connected to a live or past engagement is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for as long as tax and contract law requires us to keep business records.

If you asked to hear from us about news and offers, we keep your address until you tell us to stop.

Where your information is handled

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and the providers we use may store or process information in other countries. Where information leaves the UAE, we rely on providers that offer a comparable standard of protection and appropriate contractual safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, and ask for a copy in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything done before you did.

Write to adnan@h-38.com and we will respond. We will not charge you for asking, and we will not treat you differently for having asked. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the UAE Data Office or to the data protection authority where you live.

Other services and links

The client dashboard runs on a separate service at app.h-38.com and is covered by the terms and privacy notice presented there, not by this page.

Our LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp links take you to platforms operated by other companies. Once you are on them, their own privacy policies apply, and we have no control over what they collect.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it, and we keep the number of places your information sits as small as we can. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what we do changes, and the date at the top will change with it. This version is dated 15 August 2026.
